The class was hell but the book is very detailed and layed out great.. A must need for surviving any Myology class
GOOD QUALITY
An excellent book for those learning about the muscular skeletal. The CD ROM that came the with the book is superb, allowing one to demonstrate each muscle in turn. There is a minor of deficiency: The diagrams showing and labeling the ligaments have been removed. This is a good upgrade to a good 2nd edition.
THE reference book for massage training or any anatomy training. Well written - great photos. I'll keep this book for the life of my career.
This book should be on the shelf of every massage therapist, chiropractor, osteopath, orthopedist, physical therapist, physical trainer and anyone else dealing with the muscular system. The book is well laid out and easy to follow. Probably the definitive reference on the human muscular system, with every muscle illustrated, showing points of attachment, multiple muscular actions and listing loads of little know facts. It should be a part of every sports and health professional's curriculum.
Newer versions have more color, but I can't beat this original Muscolino text for the price ( I got mine for 20$ I think. But anyway, its very comprehensive as all of the authors works are.

This book is specifically for students of anatomy. It has all related information and ways to remember it on one page. It becomes a good reference for students of human motion as the illustrations indicate direction of muscle contraction and related joints. Not to be used without other anatomical resources, but a good book to have in the collection.
